Katsie Llave

Hello, my name is Katsie.

I’m a Performer, Teacher, and Event Planner currently residing in Manila, Philippines.

I run an events company called Patronus Events, Inc. (formerly Portkey Events), where my amazing team and I create the perfect settings to themed parties. Our area of expertise: geeky affairs. (Being a proud geek myself) It’s one of the best jobs in the world, I think, making people happy on their special days.

I studied Flamenco in Escuela Amor de Dios in Madrid, Spain, where I fell hopelessly in love with the craft, with the culture, with the country, and with its people – and where I decided to make Flamenco a permanent part of my life. I now run a little studio, where I continue to teach share everything I’ve learned thus far with anyone willing to learn.

Before my Flamenco and event planning began, I was a Voice Performance major at the University of the Philippines College of Music. I am a soprano who loves Musical Theatre and Opera, and who knows nothing about music today. I do however, teach amazing kids who do.

When I am not dancing, singing or planning parties, you will most likely find me in Hogwarts, or in Rivendell, or in Naboo, going on adventures with my friends Harry, Frodo, and Luke.

I also love Disney. With a passion. I take trips to the different parks around the world regularly in my self-made Disneybounds and ears.

I love dogs. I have two – one rascal, and one princess.

I love traveling the world. And I love getting lost, which I try to do as often as I can.

I love taking pictures. Though I’m not particularly good at it.

I love playing dress up.

I love my friends. And especially my family. I am a sister to two wonderful brothers, and I am an only daughter to the best parents I could have ever asked for.

I love to write. I don’t know how to write books, or poems, or fancy things. But I love it anyway. Because I love to tell stories.
